Sachin Vaze case: NIA seizes documents revealing names of big officials paid 'bribes' per month

The car full of explosives was found outside the house of renowned industrialist Mukesh Ambani, followed by the body of the owner of the car. Both the cases are being investigated by the NIA who have found some important documents related to the case. It contains suspicious names of some officers in the Mumbai Police Force and the administration, who are said to be paid bribes every month.

According to officials, during the investigation of suspended police officer Sachin Vaze, a club was raided at Girgaum in South Mumbai, where several documents were found, the NIA is searching for them, Sachin Vaze is in NIA custody till April 7. The NIA has sought clarification from the club owner and others in the matter. If required, these documents will be handed over by the NIA to the Income Tax Department or the CBI.

According to officials, Sachin Vaze used to come to the club, where he had hired cricket bookie Naresh Gor and co-accused Vinayak Shinde. Both are in the custody of the NIA.One of the documents mentions the office, the names of the officers and their posts, the amount is written in front of each name, which has a date by month. Officials suspect that the amount was being paid to the concerned officials every month as a bribe.

Two inspectors, including a deputy commissioner of police, and a former officer are on the radar of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with Sachin Vaze, a suspended police officer arrested in connection with the Ambani bomb scare and Mansukh Hiren murder case. It is understood that the four were found to be involved in the financial transactions of his recovery. But no evidence has yet been found of Scorpio and their involvement in the murder. Their role is being investigated and will be arrested soon if necessary, the source said.
