He was talking to the media in Mumbai.Devendra Fadnavis, Leader of the Opposition in the state assembly, had met NCP president Sharad Pawar on Monday after holding a press conference on the issue of OBC reservation.

After the meeting between Fadnavis and Pawar, discussions started in political circles. Devendra Fadnavis had said on his Twitter handle that the meeting with Sharad Pawar was a courtesy visit.

Sanjay Raut was asked about what was the point of discussion in their meeting. "Pawar must have told Fadnavis that the state government needs the cooperation of the opposition. Don't look at their meeting from political angle. I had also met Pawar. A few days ago, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had also met him. I think Sharad Pawar may have told Fadnavis that the opposition government will never come to power in the state, "said Sanjay Raut.
