Shiv Sena functionary dies, 3 injured in Sangli as tanker collides with SUV en route to Mumbai Dussehra rally

Tragedy struck as a tanker collided with an SUV, resulting in the death of a 39-year-old Shiv Sena functionary, Vivek Teli, and injuring three party workers. The incident unfolded in Maharashtra's Sangli district as they were en route to Mumbai for the Dussehra rally.

The accident transpired in Shirdhon village, Kavathe Mahankal tehsil, situated around 400 kilometres away from Mumbai. According to reports, the milk tanker rear-ended the SUV, causing it to overturn near a bridge. Unfortunately, Vivek Teli lost his life, and three of his companions sustained injuries, one of whom is in critical condition. The tanker driver also suffered injuries and is currently in police custody.
