In a shocking incidet a 26-six-year-old Idli vendor was allegedly murdered by three customers over a dispute of Rs 20 at Mira Road in Maharashtra’s Thane district on Friday.

The victim has been identified as Virendra Amritlal Yadav, a resident of Azad Nagar. As per police investigation, Yadav got into an argument with his three customers over payment of Rs 20 for the Idlis. The three suspects then pushed Yadav who fell down and received head injuries.

After pushing Yadav the accused fled from the spot. Locals rushed Yadav to a nearby hospital, but he was declared dead by the doctors.

A senior police officer from Naya Nagar police station said "Yadav was declared dead before admission at the hospital. The primary report suggested that he had died to severe head injuries that he received due to the fall he suffered after being pushed by the accused."

Police authorities also located a CCTV video of the suspected individuals. The footage is being circulated at various police stations across Mira Bhayander Commissionerate, Mumbai, and surrounding areas of Thane and Palghar to nab the accused.
