A scuffle broke out between a hawker and police personnel yesterday after she was not allowed to sell vegetables in a containment area in Mankhurd, suburb in eastern Mumbai. A case has been registered in the matter by police.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday said that some industrial and commercial activities will be restarted from April 20. However, the relaxation will not be effective in containment areas.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Maharashtra continues to be the worst-affected state with a total of 3,323 cases. While 331 patients have recovered, 201 deaths have been reported.
