District Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde and State Housing Minister Dr. Jitendra Awhad on Friday instructed Thane Municipal Commissioner that there shouldn't be any complaints from the quarantine and isolation centres set up in the city. Both the ministers have specially instructed the civic authorities not to compromise on health facilities. 

Special instruction have been given to Thane Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar to strictly enforce lockdown rules in the containment zone in order to break the corona chain.

Mayor Naresh Mhaske suggested that all the decisions that have been taken in the meeting should be implemented immediately. Shinde and Awhad had organized a meeting with regards to increasing number of coronavirus cases in Thane city.

During the meeting, Shinde and Awhad directed the Thane Police Commissioner to take necessary action for strict enforcement of lockdown in containment zones, especially in Lokmanya Nagar, Wagle ward and Mumbra ward. 

Initially complaints there were complaints from patients in the quarantine and isolation centers but now complaints have stopped coming.
