After the expansion of the Union Cabinet, the BJP has felt the effects of displeasure. 14 BJP office bearers from Beed have resigned. Gopinath Munde's daughter Pritam Munde's non-inclusion in the cabinet has angered Munde's supporters. Pankaja Munde had said in a public press conference that he was not upset with the party's decision. But after the resignation of Munde supporters in Beed, the political atmosphere in the district has heated.

BJP district general secretary Sarjerao Tandale, Zilla Parishad member Savita Bade, Panchayat Samiti member Prakash Khedkar and other office bearers have resigned. A large section of the BJP is said to be unhappy with the non-inclusion of Pritam Munde in the cabinet. Pritam Munde's name was being discussed for the expansion of the Union Cabinet. But not getting the ministerial post has caused resentment among the workers. There is no need to say what the party is warning. Activists have spread the message on social media on Thursday that Munde she should take a decision now.

Former minister Pankaja Munde and MP Pritam Munde are influential in 40 assembly constituencies. Party seniors should support Pankaja Munde and Pritam Munde; but they are trying to cut off their wings without any support. We will urge her to take a different role, said BJP activist Sachin Geette. BJP workers in the district are unhappy with the leader who was elected by a record number of votes. Late Gopinath Munde reached out to the people at the grassroots level of the BJP. Pankaja and Pritam Munde had played a pivotal role in bringing the party to power through the Sangharsh Yatra. However, now due to the conspiracies of some of her own people, they are trying to destroy the Munde sisters. This will only hurt the BJP, said Ashwin Mogarkar.

Pankaja Munde said, "Pritam Munde and I never demanded anything (ministerial berth). I have no differences with those who have taken the oath as they are also followers of Gopinath Munde. It was the decision of the party. And, I am not angry or upset with the party. But the supporters are definitely angry about this. I will talk to them and try to convince them. My best wishes to those who became ministers. I will be happier if they strengthen the party."Pankaja and Pritam are daughters of late union minister and former deputy chief minister of Maharashtra Gopinath Munde.
