Hrishi Giridhar, a 21 year old boy from Mumbai, shared his survival story when he tested positive for COVID-19 on 21st March after he returned from London. He was given the best treatment from the doctors & nurses at Kasturba Hospital all free of cost. 

Amid the criss, Hrishi's survival story provides some hope. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray also congratulated Hrishi on his survival story. 

He tweeted," Hrishi Giridhar for beating Coronavirus and thank you for sharing your story of hope and recovery. This will motivate others to fight the virus head-on. Best wishes for the future.#WarAgainstVirus".

Maharashtra continues to remain the worst-hit state with 25,922 COVID-19 positive cases. With increasing number of cases, the virus has created panic among the citizens.

India's coronavirus cases count crossed 78,000 on Thursday with 3,722 new cases reported in the last 24 hours as the recovery rate improved to 33.6 per cent from 32.83 per cent a day earlier.
