'We Are Happy if Two Come Together': Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Reacts to Buzz Around Uddhav-Raj Thackeray Unity
There is a heated discussion about a new political equation in Maharashtra politics once again. Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray had parted ways in 2005. After that, it was said that the Thackeray brothers would come together once again. Speaking at various events, both the leaders said that the linguistic and cultural interests of Maharashtra are above all else. Reacting to this political development, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that we would be happy if the two came together.
The discussion about Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray coming together has been going on in Maharashtra politics for many years. However, now the statements made by both the leaders have given impetus to this discussion again. Speaking in an interview, when Raj Thackeray proposed an alliance, Uddhav Thackeray also reacted positively to it. After that, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reacted to it on Saturday. He expressed happiness about the possible alliance between Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena party chief Uddhav Thackeray.
"We are happy if the two come together. If someone forgets their differences and comes together, there is no reason to feel bad about it. The media thinks a little too much about him. But wait. If they come together, it is better, we will welcome them. They are the ones who make the offer, then the ones who respond to it and set the conditions. What should I say about it? So, instead of asking me too much about it, we should ask them," said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
