Disha Salian Case: Father Files Written Complaint with Mumbai Police, Alleges Murder After Assault
In a fresh development in the Disha Salian death case, her father, Satish Salian, has alleged that his daughter was not a suicide victim but was murdered after being subjected to a gang assault. He has demanded that a criminal case be registered in this regard.
On Tuesday, Satish Salian submitted a 75-page written complaint to the Mumbai Police, seeking action against the accused. In his complaint, he has leveled serious allegations against Aditya Thackeray and others, claiming that Disha was gang-raped and then murdered. Furthermore, he has alleged that a criminal conspiracy was orchestrated with the help of then-Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to suppress the case.
According to the complaint, senior police officers were also involved in the cover-up. It is alleged that they misused police and government machinery, fabricated false evidence, threatened witnesses, and attempted to hide crucial criminal evidence.
Satish Salian has urged the authorities to file a case against all those involved. His complaint was received by Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Lakhmi Gautam.
His lawyer, Nilesh Ojha, has made serious allegations against Aditya Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray, stating that the responsibility now lies with the police to take action. He added that it remains to be seen when the police will act against the accused.
The complaint seeks action against several individuals, including Aditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Sooraj Pancholi, their security personnel, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, Sachin Vaze, and Rhea Chakraborty. These details have been mentioned in the complaint submitted to the Mumbai Police.
The case is expected to take a significant turn following these allegations, and all eyes are now on the Mumbai Police’s next course of action.
