Mumbai, Maharashtra (February 2, 2025): Former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visited the Parsee Gymkhana in south Mumbai on Sunday and participated in a game of cricket. He expressed his happiness over not getting out too many times during the match.

“No trip to Mumbai is complete without a game of tennis ball cricket,” Sunak posted on X. “Great to be with all of you at the Parsee Gymkhana Club at its anniversary celebrations. What an extraordinary achievement. So much history and so much exciting stuff to come."

Sunak added that he was looking forward to more such visits in the future.

The Parsee Gymkhana, an iconic club, was established on February 25, 1885. Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy served as its founder president, while Jamsetjee Tata was the chairman. The gymkhana moved to its current location along Marine Drive in 1887.
