Indigo is expanding its global presence in Thailand. It has launched direct flights from Mumbai to Krabi. The first flight operation will be carried out on March 23, 2025. With this, the airline aims to provide seamless travel.

Initially, the airline will be flying only six flights a week. Indigo also plans to increase daily flights from March 30. With this, Krabi will become the third Indigo destination in Thailand after Bangkok and Phuket.

This new route will be part of Indigo’s plans to enhance connectivity and offer more travel options for those wanting to explore the beauty of Southern Thailand. Krabi is the best spot in Thailand, known for limestone cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and pristine beaches. The city promises a captivating experience for visitors.

An official statement was released by Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo. He said, “We are extremely pleased to introduce direct flights from Mumbai to Krabi, further strengthening connectivity between India and Thailand.”

This expansion coincides with a period of robust growth in India's domestic air travel sector. According to official data, passenger traffic surged by 11.28% in January, reaching 1.46 crore compared to the same month last year. IndiGo strengthened its market dominance, increasing its share to 65.2% last month, while the Air India Group saw its share decline to 25.7%.
