IndiGo Flight from Jaipur Makes Emergency Landing in Mumbai After Bomb Threat
Mumbai, Maharashtra (April 7, 2025): An IndiGo flight from Jaipur to Mumbai with 225 passengers and crew onboard landed under full emergency conditions at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) on Monday due to a bomb threat. The flight, which was en route from Jaipur (JAI) to Mumbai (BOM), landed safely at around 8:50 p.m. The aircraft was immediately moved to a remote bay for a thorough security check, in accordance with protocols.

"A threat note was discovered aboard the aircraft during its journey. As a precaution, full emergency was declared at Mumbai Airport at 8:43 p.m. The flight landed safely at 8:50 p.m. Airport operations remain unaffected," the airport said in a statement.
"CSMIA is actively coordinating with the airline and security agencies. The safety of passengers and staff remains our top priority," the statement added.
