A six-year-old boy was allegedly abducted and sexually raped by a 22-year-old man in the bushes along the BPT railway tracks adjacent to Wadala Railway Station in Wadala East, according to reports from Wadala Police Station, reported Free Press Journal. The incident on April 15 occurred between 1:05 PM and 3:15 PM, according to Wadala police. At 11:46 p.m. the same night, a case was officially lodged under BNS Sections 137(2), 115(2), and 351(3), as well as POCSO Act Sections 4, 6, and 8.
The culprit, Gulfraz Jiul Alam (22), a resident of Katihar, Bihar, has been detained. A preliminary inquiry finds that the accused worked as a labourer alongside the victim's father. According to the lawsuit, the accused abducted the youngster without his parents' knowledge, undressed him, and sexually assaulted him through forced oral and anal actions. When the boy wailed, the accused repeatedly slapped him and threatened to kill him if he told his parents about the attack.
Following the victim's disclosure, a case was filed, and the accused was arrested by the Wadala Police. Police officials confirmed that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
