Mumbai Crime: Youth Drugs, Assaults and Blackmails Minor Girlfriend With Obscene Videos in Juhu; Accused Absconding

A shocking incident has come to light in Juhu, where a youth allegedly drugged his minor girlfriend using a soft drink, sexually assaulted her, recorded obscene photos and videos, and later blackmailed her by demanding ₹50,000. He also threatened to leak the videos and photos on social media. The Juhu Police have registered a case against the accused under sections related to sexual assault, extortion, and the POCSO Act. The accused is currently absconding, and police have launched a search operation.

According to police reports, the 18-year-old victim, a resident of Andheri, was in a relationship with the accused. He had proposed to her when she was 17 years old. In October last year, the accused invited her to his residence in Juhu, where he allegedly spiked her soft drink with sedatives. When she lost consciousness, he sexually assaulted her and recorded explicit videos and photos.

The accused later used the videos and photos to blackmail her and force her into a physical relationship. He continuously threatened to leak the content to her family, friends, and on social media. Between October 2023 and March 2025, the accused repeatedly exploited her. Recently, he demanded ₹50,000 from her, and when she refused, he allegedly sent her obscene photos and videos to her sister in an attempt to defame her.

Following the incident, the victim approached Juhu Police and lodged a complaint. As soon as the case was registered in the police, the accused absconded. The police is searching for him.
