Mumbai Fire: Blaze Breaks Out at Freemasons Hall in Fort; Firefighting Ops Underway (Watch Video)

A fire broke out at Freemasons Hall, located opposite Sterling Cinema in Fort, with the incident reported by the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) at 4.40 pm. The blaze is confined to an office on the second floor of a ground-plus-partly-upper-one-floored and partly-upper-two-floored building, causing heavy smoke logging inside the premises.

Four fire tenders are at the spot, along with 3FE, 1 MWT, 1 AWTT, 3 JT, 1 BA Van, 1 WQRV, an ambulance, and BMC ward staff. Assistant Divisional Fire Officer (ADFO) and senior officials are overseeing the operation.

Firefighter Pankaj Parshuram Bhoir, 25, from Fort Fire Station, sustained an injury to his right hand and was shifted to G.T. Hospital in a mobile police van. According to hospital sources, he is receiving OPD treatment, and his condition remains stable.
