A massive crocodile spotted roaming along a lakeside road at IIT Bombay’s Powai campus has left the internet stunned. The reptile, believed to have emerged from Powai Lake. A video of the sighting, posted on X by user @rushikesh_agre_, has gained over 27,000 views. The footage shows the crocodile crawling onto the road.

Social media users flooded the comments section with humor, joking about the reptile being a new student or a job seeker. One user quipped, “Crocodile — Degree chahiye mereko.” Another joked, “Placement chalu hain IIT main, interview dene gaya rahega.” A third user added, “Croc: I heard that IITans are getting million-dollar packages. Let me also try out my luck once.” One user summed it up, writing, “Crocodile going for a walk after dinner.”

Rescue teams believe the crocodile ventured out of the lake, possibly in search of food or due to changing water levels.
