4. Short-Termination and Origination of Suburban Trains Due to Maintenance Work

The Central Railway will conduct special traffic and power blocks for the launching of a ROB girder (Phase I) at Kasara station on March 8 and 9, 2025. The first block will take place on March 8 from 11:40 AM to 12:10 PM, affecting both Up and Down North East lines within Kasara station limits. On March 9, the second block will be implemented from 11:40 AM to 12:10 PM, followed by the third block from 4:00 PM to 4:25 PM. Both blocks will impact the Up and Down North East lines within Kasara station limits.

As a result, some suburban trains will have revised short-term termination and origination schedules.

Kasara local (N-11), departing from CSMT at 9:34 AM on March 8 and 9, 2025, will be short-terminated at Asangaon. Similarly, Kasara local (N-19), leaving CSMT at 1:10 PM on March 9, 2025, will be short-terminated at Kalyan.

The local for CSMT (N-16), scheduled to depart from Kasara at 11:10 AM on March 8 and 9, 2025, will short-originate from Asangaon. Likewise, the local for CSMT (N-26), set to leave Kasara at 4:16 PM on March 9, 2025, will short-originate from Kalyan.

These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for any inconvenience caused.
