Local train services were disrupted in the Western Line of Mumbai division on Thursday morning, February 20, due to a point failure at the Borivali Railway station, reported Mid Day. Several Churchgate-bound trains were running behind schedule.

According to the report, trains from Borivali were also suspended following the issue. A commuter reported that at 8.30 am train from Borivali to Churchgate was cancelled. Early morning, commuters and office goers show frustration due to train delays.

However, the problem was resolved within an hour and services were restored. Railway officials told Mid Day that the disruption did not have a prolonged impact on the trains schedule.
