Mumbai: Man From UP Dies by Suicide at His Malad Residence, Blames Wife and Her Alleged Lovers in Viral Video
A video of a young man from Uttar Pradesh's Rampur district, who died by suicide allegedly due to his wife's affair, is going viral on social media. Before ending his life, the 30‑year‑old recorded two videos and posted them online, making serious allegations against his wife and two of her alleged lovers. He held all three responsible for his death. After watching the video, the man's family reported the incident to the police.
The man, identified as Arif, was a resident of Dadhiyal village in Rampur's Tanda police station area. He worked as a furniture vendor in the Malad Malvani area of Mumbai, where he lived with his wife and son. In his video, Arif alleged that his wife was in an extramarital relationship with another man and accused his wife's family of mentally harassing him.

On Tuesday, Arif posted two videos online, expressing his distress. He also claimed that fake divorce documents had been created and alleged that police were not providing him any help in the matter.

Arif died by suicide at around 7 PM on Tuesday evening, April 15. His body was found hanging from a tree. Mumbai Police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem. Upon learning of the incident, Arif’s family rushed to city. His body is now being transported to Rampur by road. Family members revealed that Arif had spoken to them on Tuesday morning, and at that time, they had no indication that he was planning to take such an extreme step.
