Because the Aarey–BKC corridor is undergoing its final trial integration, the Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line) has announced a temporary modification in operating hours for Thursday, April 18. Metro services will start at 8.30 AM on this day rather than the customary 6:30 AM and run until 10:30 PM. The official X handle of Mumbai Metro Line 3 posted the update. The official statement reads, "As part of the final trial integration between the Aarey–BKC corridor and the new stretch up to Acharya Atre Chowk (6 stations), Mumbai Metro Line 3 will operate with adjusted hours on 18th April from 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM.We recommend planning your commute in advance."
The first completely underground metro line in the city is the Aqua Line, which is also known as Mumbai Metro Line 3. It has 27 stations and travels over 33.5 kilometres from Colaba in South Mumbai to SEEPZ in the north, stopping at significant locations like Churchgate, Dadar, and BKC. In one of the busiest cities in the world, this line is being constructed to improve public transport and lessen road congestion. It would provide a quicker and more pleasant way to travel by connecting important parts of Mumbai.

In a post on X on Saturday, Mumbai Metro Line 3 provided an early look at the future Dadar metro station. The station is situated in the centre of one of the busiest regions in Mumbai. Teams had to relocate stores and utilities throughout its construction, and work continued during festivals and even during the COVID-19 pandemic, which required a great deal of preparation and hard labour.
The Aqua Line 3, which travels entirely underground from Colaba to SEEPZ, will have Dadar as its sixteenth station. When the queue opens, it will make it easier and more comfortable for people to move through some of the city's busiest areas.
