Mumbai Police Arrest 27 Bangladeshi Nationals in Crackdown on Illegal Immigration

Mumbai Police have arrested 27 Bangladeshi intruders under a special operation. The operation is part of an ongoing campaign against Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in Mumbai. The police action, which took place on Thursday, resulted in the arrest of 27 Bangladeshi nationals who were found to be living in the city without the necessary legal documentation required to stay in India.

The arrested individuals were charged under various sections of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) and the Foreigners Act. They were produced in court to complete the required legal procedures.

So far this year, Mumbai Police have taken action against a total of 353 illegal Bangladeshi immigrants, and this drive will continue in the future. Authorities have also appealed to the public to report any illegal Bangladeshi nationals residing in Mumbai.
