A threat call received at the Mumbai Police Control Room has raised alarms, claiming that terrorists are planning an attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft as he prepares for his upcoming visit to the United States.Security Agencies on High Alert Following Threat Ahead of PM's US Visit.
Taking the threat seriously, Mumbai Police immediately alerted other security agencies and launched a thorough investigation. During the initial probe, it was discovered that similar threat calls had been made multiple times from the same phone number.
The caller said, "Modi is going to America. An American terrorist is going to bomb Modi's aircraft." The caller further added that this is the same terrorist who has bombed six planes.
Sources reported that this call was received on Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities suspect that the caller may be mentally unstable, but police forces remain on high alert. Security agencies continue to investigate the matter closely to ensure there is no credible danger.
