Along with some of Mumbai's most recognisable elements, such as the monsoon rains, the well-known vada pav, and the city's busy transit options, which include local trains, the metro, cars, and the BEST buses, the picture captures the lively celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi. Instagram users have taken notice of these intriguing photos, enthralling everyone with Ghibli effects.
One of the most well-known celebrations in Mumbai and Maharashtra is Ganesh Chaturthi. Throughout the year, people look forward to this 11-day celebration. Among the most well-known of Mumbai's large pandals are "Mumbai Cha Raja," "Lalbaugcha Raja," "Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani," and many others. In Mumbai, these famous pandals may be found close to the Curry Road and Chinchpokli train stations.
With thousands of commuters using them every day from all around the city, Mumbai's local trains are frequently referred to as the city's lifeline. Several lines, including the Central, Western, and Harbour lines, are part of the local train network. To meet the varied needs of the city's passengers, the railway system also provides a range of options, such as both AC and non-AC trains.
After the local train, the next thing that comes to mind is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT). Many Mumbai people use the CSMT railway station every day, making it one of the city's busiest stations. Both local and outstation trains can use the station's amenities. Additionally, the station serves Mumbai's several railway lines, including the Harbour Line, Central Railway, and Western Railway.
After the train, Mumbai is now a metro city too. The Mumbai Metro offers a wonderful travel experience, with routes like the Ghatkopar to Versova corridor, and the Aqua Line gives a different experience. Several metro lines provide daily services and offer commuters a quick and efficient way to travel across the city.
The BEST buses connect several stations and localities around Mumbai, offering mobility throughout the city. Buses come in two varieties: AC and non-AC. The cost of a ride on the AC buses is Rs. 6. From Churchgate and CST stations, a number of services are available that let travellers see the city's famous sites, including Marine Drive and the Gateway of India.
After BEST, auto rickshaws are the ones that drive mumbaikars even through the narrow roads of the city quite easily. Known for their swift travel times, auto rickshaws are frequently spotted in Sion, Bandra, and other portions of Mumbai, as well as in the neighbouring regions of Thane and Kalyan. These vehicles are identifiable by their characteristic black and yellow colour scheme and can carry up to three passengers at once.
Apart from Mumbai’s Ganesh Chaturthi festival and Transportation, the post also shows Bandra Reclamation and Bandra Worli Sea Link with a Ghibli effect. One of Mumbai's best areas, Bandra West, is a well-liked spot, particularly for shopping along Linking Road. The famed Bandra-Worli Sea Link is the reason for its fame. One of Bandra's most notable attractions is the 'I Love Mumbai' installations, which are located throughout the city in places including Bandra Reclamation, Juhu, and Vile Parle West, with some even popping up in other areas.
The user also gave Mumbai’s monsoon a Ghibli Look. Mumbai ki baarish is the time eagerly awaited by Mumbaikars. The monsoon usually begins in June and lasts until around August or September. During this time, Mumbaikars often visit Marine Drive and other scenic points to enjoy the rains. However, in some areas, waterlogging can occur due to heavy and non-stop rain. During rains, Mumbaikars enjoy Vada Pav the most.
