12-Hour Water Cut in Ghatkopar East on March 6 for Pipeline Repairs

Mumbai: Residents of Ghatkopar East will face a 12-hour water cut on March 6, 2025, as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) carries out urgent pipeline repair work. The water supply will remain completely shut off from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM to fix a major leakage in a 750 mm diameter pipeline near the MICL Project on R. B. Mehta Road.

According to officials from N Ward (Ghatkopar) of the BMC, in addition to repairing the leakage, a 600 mm diameter relocated water pipeline near Marathi Vidyalaya on the Ghatkopar-Andheri Link Road will also be connected during this period. Officials have assured that water supply will be restored once the work is completed.

The municipal corporation has urged residents to use water judiciously and cooperate during the repair process.
