Mumbai: Woman Goes In Labour In Taxi, Cops Help Deliver Baby
An urgent transmission regarding a woman in labour in a taxi on Ready Road in Mumbai was received by the South Control Room at 12:54 PM, and the Nirbhaya team discovered she was giving birth, reported Mid Day.

On March 17, a pregnant woman named Masuma Sheikh went into labour inside a taxi near Chandni Chowk at Reay Road, narrowly escaping death thanks to the quick action of the Nirbhaya squad from the Sewri Police Station. The Nirbhaya team learnt she was giving birth and hurried her to Sir JJ Hospital after receiving an urgent alert about a woman in labour in a taxi during the afternoon.
With Dr. Sultan's assistance, Masuma Sheikh delivered a healthy boy.
