941 recovered, 196 new cases

There was a decrease in Covid cases on Sunday as well. Around 196 patients were found positive as less tests were conducted, but 941 patients have recovered.

On Sunday, 144 patients were found in city and four deaths, while 48 positive patients were found in rural areas and two deaths. Around 8,778 tests were conducted in Nagpur district on Sunday. The positivity rate increased to 2.23 percent compared to 1.96 percent on Saturday.

According to experts, it is necessary to follow rules of Covid looking at the present condition. On Sunday, 672 people from rural and 269 patients from city defeated Covid. At present, 832 patients are being treated in rural and 2,798 in city. There are a total of 3,540 active patients in the district. Out of this 2,076 patients are being treated in home isolation and 1,464 in government and private hospitals.

23,000 patients were cured

in Mayo, Medical and AIIMS

In the period of 15 months of Covid infection, 23,000 patients were cured from Mayo, GMCH and AIIMS. 10,530 from GMCH, 10,500 from Mayo and 2,563 from AIIMS. So far 4,054 patients have died in GMCH, 3,034 in Mayo and 180 patients in AIIMS.
