Green signal to RTO-Campus flyover

Another flyover has been given a green signal in the city. The flyover will be constructed from Nagpur University Campus to RTO and has been approved in the Central government’s budget for Maharashtra.
The flyover will be constructed at a cost of Rs478 crore. union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari sanctioned Rs2,800 crore worth of highway projects in Maharashtra under the Ministry of National Highways.
This includes the flyover in Nagpur. The bridge was announced a few months ago. However, he did not get official approval, but on Thursday, the bridge got approved by the ministry.
In addition, a four-lane flyover will be constructed at Wadi-MIDC junction. The flyover from RTO to University Campus will benefit Wadi and MIDC commuters. The flyover will be four-lane and construction is expected to begin soon.

Upgradation of Parli to Gangakhed on National Highway No. 361F - Rs 244.44 crore
Amgaon Gondia Highway on National Highway No. 543 - Rs 239.24 crore
Bridge over Manjira river near Yesgi village near Nanded - Rs 188 crore
Tarere Gaganbawda to Kolhapur Highway in Kolhapur District - 167 crore
Tiroda Gondia Highway on National Highway 752 - Rs 228 crore
Construction of National Highway 353 and 16 bridges in Gadchiroli district - 282 crore
Guhagar-Chiplun Highway - Rs 171crore
Jalgaon-Chalisgaon-Nandgaon-Manmad highway improvement - Rs 252 crore
