Sachin Harishchandre's half century and Ravi Patil's devastating spell helped Maharashtra to drub Bengal by 60 runs and win Koshish Premier League National T-20 Cricket Tournament for Physically Disabled at Vasannt Nagar ground, here on Thursday.

With this victory Maharashtra won consecutive 18th title in national tournament under the leadership of city's Gurudas Rat. Maharashtra won the toss and elected to bat first. They had not an encouraging start as opener Ravi Patil returned to the pavilion on duck. At the score of 29, Maharashtra lost three wickets. Then tailender Sachin Harishchandre played aggressively and slammed 72 in 37 balls hitting five sixes and seven boundaries. Thus Maharashtra scored a good total of 153 all out in 19.4 overs. For Bengal Manish Kumar captured four wickets. In reply Bengal were all out 93 in 16.4 overs. Rajkumar Ghosh (37 not out), tried his best after Tushar Paul and Milan Das (10) returned to the pavilion but in vain.

Secretary of Koshish Foundation Riddhi Deshmukh was the chief guest of prize distribution function. VCA's Hemant Gandhi, Raje Mudhoji Bhonsale, PCCI secretary Ravi Chauhan, Sudhir Baheti of Lions Club, Sanjay Bhoskar, vice-president of Koshish Foundation Vikrant Deshmukh and others were also present on the occasion. Cash prizes worth Rs 1.80 lakh were distributed.
