Mortality rate higher in rural than city

The Covid infection graph has been declining in district, but compared to city, it is still not in control.
On Tuesday, 15 deaths reported in rural while 14 deaths were reported in the city and 12 were from outside the district. A total of 41 deaths were reported.
At the same time, 1,189 new positives were found and 4,073 recovered. In rural, even though the tests decreased compared to city, positive in rural areas was almost at par with city. The positivity rate in the city is 5.29 percent, while in rural it is 9.85 percent.
So far, a total of 4,65,403 were found infected and a total of 8,621 deaths.
Among the infected, 591 are were from the city, 586 from rural and 12 are from outside the district. Out of the recovered people 2,220 are from city, 1,853 are from rural. So far, a total of 4,32,817 patients have recovered. The recovery rate has reached 93 percent. The maximum of 17,197 samples were tested on Tuesday compared to the previous 5 days, out of which 11,249 are from city, and 5,948 in rural.
Active patients also more in rural
There were 77,627 active patients in Nagpur on April 29,but now it has reduced to only 23,965. There are 11,878 patients in the city, 12,087 in rural areas. For the first time, there are more active patients in rural than in the city. 5,889 patients were treated in various government and private hospitals. While there are 18,076 in home isolation.
