On March 30, Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Smruti Mandir in Reshimbagh, Nagpur, to pay his respects with flowers to RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat were among the leaders who accompanied him. Mohan Bhagwat, the head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), also honoured Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the organization's founder.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and other Maharashtra cabinet members met PM Modi at the Nagpur airport when he arrived at around nine in the morning.
Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, arrived at Smruti Mandir before Prime Minister Modi. At Deekshabhoomi, where the drafter of the Indian constitution converted to Buddhism in 1956 along with thousands of his supporters, PM Modi will also pay his respects to Babasaheb Ambedkar. After performing darshan at Smruti Mandir, PM Modi will travel to Deekshabhoomi. PM Modi will speak at a public gathering and lay the cornerstone of the Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre in Nagpur at around ten in the morning.

The Loitering Munition Testing Range and Runway facility for UAVs at Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited in Nagpur will be inaugurated by the prime minister at approximately 12:30 pm. "The Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre, a new addition to the Madhav Netralaya Eye Institute & Research Centre, will have its foundation stone laid by Prime Minister Modi. It is a top-tier super-specialty eye care facility in Nagpur that was founded in 2014," stated the PMO.
Ashutosh Adoni, an RSS ideologue, called Prime Minister Modi's March 30 visit to Nagpur "very important and historic." He said that the PM's stay in Nagpur and his visit to the Smruti Mandir would be historic.
