The secretary of Tennisball Cricket Association of Maharashtra (TCAM) Dr Mohammad Babar has alleged that Vidarbha Tennisball Cricket Association has been functioning illegally since there is the rule of 'One State One Association' in the national sports code.

While addressing media persons at SJAN office Dr Babar said the existence of VTCA has automatically come to an end since the implementation of 'One State One Association' rule. He also informed that for the first time tennisball cricket association has been included in Khelo India and the TCAM has been demanding one coaching centre in Nagpur thru the efforts of union minister Nitin Gadkari. Dr Babar also said the state championship in senior and Under-19 boys and girls categories will be organised at Aurangabad from February 19 to 21.

Meanwhile the TCAM as declared Maharashtra team for All India Tennisball Cricket Tournament to be held at Agra from February 9 ro 11.

The Sheikh Mohammad Harun led team include Rahul Naik, Manoj Prakash, Harshad Mehar, Jagruk Dhadu, Sonu Gupta, Yadesh Warti, Rushi Shinde, Yash Chavann, Sonal Patil, Jaya Patel, Rutura Masdar, Dhiraj Shinde, Swarup Patil, Niranjan Patil (stand-by), Deepak Shinde (stand-by), Sheikh Patil (stand-by), Sahil Chavan (stand-by). Dr Dhananjay Patil (manageR), Abdul Jabak (coach).

President of the association Dr S Farooqui, vice-president Dr BS Dhotre,joint secretary Jagdish Ghanbhoj annd Nikhil Raut werealso present at the press conference.
