Nagpur, March 20
The Sadar police has filed a rape case against a 26-yr-old youth following a complaint by a 24-yr-old girl, who happened to be his girlfriend. The accused has been identified as Naushad Mansoori Navshahi, a resident of Old Kamptee, Near Rabbani High School.
According to police report, the Godhni resident girl met Naushad in 2019 and they become close friends. After an year, Naushad took the girl to his friends house in Sadar area and lured her into establishing physical relations, on false marriage commitment. He use to regularly take her to friends place and impregnated her. The girl then forced him to marry her. Naushad then told her to go for abortion, then he will marry her. The girls relatives also came to know about the affair and when they inquired about Naushad, they discovered that he is already in a live-in relationship with another girl. After knowing about this, the Godhni girl filed a police complaint at Sadar police station. The Sadar police has filed a case of rape against the accused.
