Zilla Parishad is going to purchase homeopathic medicines worth Rs 80 lakh by spending the interest amount of the 14th finance commission fund. This is being informed that this medicine will be used to increase the immunity among citizens residing in rural areas. The name of the drug is Arsenic Album 30. The standing committee meeting has approved the proposal.

During the meeting district health officer Dr Selokar said that 19656 patients have been found till October 20. Among them 17239 patients have recovered. The recovery rate is 92.20 per cent. He said that there are 1871 active patients in rural areas of the district while 549 patients have died due to Covid.

He said that infected patients are being treated in Covid care centre. The survey is also going on. State home minister Anil Deshmukh and ML Samir Meghe have given Rs 10 lakh each. With this fund mask, sanitiser, oximeter, hand gloves and other necessary articles have been purchased till December, he said.
