The brutal assault left the victim seriously injured, creating panic among local residents. According to the regional media reports, the assailants used koytas and choppers in the attack. Meanwhile, fear of the Koyta gang continues to spread in Pune’s Yerwada area. Unidentified miscreants vandalized two excavator machines being used for a municipal drainage project in Lakshminagar. The attackers shattered the glass windows of the machines, causing concern among local residents.

Municipal engineer Shrikant Fadtare filed a complaint at the Yerwada police station. Authorities say repeated incidents like these are creating fear among workers and delaying important civic projects. There have also been reports of contractors and laborers receiving threats at knifepoint, raising serious concerns about the safety of development work in the city.
