Nashik, Maharashtra (March 10, 2025): A flat caught fire after people burst firecrackers on a road near a house in Maharashtra’s Nashik city while celebrating India’s ICC Champions Trophy victory. The incident occurred around 10.30 p.m. on Sunday in the College Road area. No injuries were reported.
According to the reports, firecrackers set off on the road led to the house catching fire. Firefighters arrived quickly after receiving the alert and took about 30 minutes to control the blaze.

As firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, a group of young people celebrating the cricket win climbed onto a fire tender and began dancing. Nearly 4,000 people had gathered for the celebrations, creating challenges for the fire brigade’s operation. Police later intervened and dispersed the crowd.
