A violent clash broke out in the accident room of the Government District Hospital on Sunday (23rd) at around 7 PM, creating panic among patients and staff. Two rival groups from Nashik stormed into the hospital and started attacking each other, using chairs, stools, and even stones. The sudden violence led to chaos, with hospital staff scrambling for safety. Fortunately, no medical personnel were injured. The entire incident was captured on the hospital’s CCTV cameras.

The situation escalated when two injured youths arrived at the accident room for treatment. While doctors were examining them, a rival group entered and started attacking them. The brawl quickly spiraled out of control as objects were thrown, and the accident room turned into a battleground. Doctors and nurses had to take cover to protect themselves from the violence.

The fight reportedly started in the Helbavdi area of Dudhbazar, Old Nashik. Three people were injured in an earlier scuffle and were admitted to the district hospital. Shortly after, a group of men arrived on motorcycles and continued the attack inside the hospital premises. The violence left bricks, stones, and broken furniture across the accident room. Even the handle of the mini surgery room’s door was damaged.

Upon receiving the alert, the Sarkarwada police rushed to the scene and controlled the situation. An investigation is underway to identify and arrest those involved in the attack.
