Nashik Weather Update: City Gets Relief as Maximum Temperature Drops by 2 Degrees Celsius After Hailstorm

Nashik residents have experienced slight relief from the scorching heat as the maximum temperature dropped by 2 degrees Celsius. However, the minimum temperature has increased, keeping nights warm.

Earlier this week, the Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for a heatwave in some districts of Maharashtra. On Tuesday (11th), the temperature was recorded at 37.5°C, rising further to 38.7°C on Wednesday (12th). However, the temperature has now started to decline slightly, bringing some relief from the extreme heat.

Despite the drop in temperature, the heat remains intense in the afternoons. People are avoiding stepping out between 12 pm and 3 pm, and vehicle owners can be seen parking under trees to escape the sun.

Since the beginning of March, temperatures have been rising steadily, making Nashik residents uneasy. Many feared that April and May would be even hotter. However, the slight drop in temperature over the past three days has brought some comfort.

Although the heat has eased slightly, fluctuating temperatures are affecting people's health. Many residents are complaining of heat-related illnesses, leading to an increase in hospital visits.

With summer approaching, experts advise people to stay hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure, and take necessary precautions to stay safe from heatwaves.
