Nashik city is witnessing a drastic shift in weather patterns, leaving residents struggling to adjust. Over the past few days, the city has experienced fluctuating temperatures—cold mornings and nights followed by hot and uncomfortable afternoons.
On Monday (17th), the maximum temperature soared to 35.2 degrees Celsius, marking the highest temperature recorded in the last fortnight. The minimum temperature stood at 13.6 degrees Celsius, creating a sharp contrast between day and night.
The heat has become more noticeable during the day, making it difficult for residents to cope with the sudden rise in temperature. While the Meteorological Department had predicted that Nashik and five other districts in Maharashtra would experience chilly mornings and nights until the 18th, the unexpected surge in daytime temperatures has taken people by surprise.
The rising heat is affecting daily life, with many feeling discomfort while traveling or working outdoors. Health experts advise staying hydrated and avoiding prolonged sun exposure during peak hours. Residents are now eagerly waiting for a drop in temperatures to bring relief from the unseasonal heat.
