New Delhi, March 7 (life) Urvashi Dance Music Art and Cultural Society is going to present a unique creation and presentation "Kaal Shakti" on 8th March 2020 at Kamani Auditorium, from 6 pm onwards.

A unique classical dance and drama ballet, which will take place on the International Women's Day in the national capital, is all set to bring forth a symbolic reading of deity Shiva in the form of its female incarnations.

Reimagining Shiva as Sita, Draupadi, Ahilya and Urmila, this presentation not only focuses on the divine female forms but also the strength of women in contemporary society.

The ballet titled 'Kaal Shakti', conceptualized by Kathak exponent and social activist Rekha Mehra - President of Urvashi Dance, Music, Art and Cultural Society - will also honour eminent women who have empowered the society at large and symbolizes the creative powers of the universe.

"Kaal Shakti is our way for dedicating and empowering those women who have braved all odds to make a niche for themselves. We will show an aspect of 'Shiva - Kaal Shakti' where Shiva and Shakti complete each other," Mehra shared.
