Significance Of Akshaya Tritiya:

In Hinduism, Akshaya Tritiya is one of the most important festivals. In Sanskrit, the word "akshaya" means "imperishable" or "never diminishing." Consequently, there will always be benefits to engaging in Dan Punya (charity), Pitra Tarpan (honouring one's ancestors), Yajna (sacrifice rite), or Japa (repetition of mantras). Jains and Hindus are the primary celebrants of Akshaya Tritiya. This day in Hinduism is linked to the Mahabharata, where Shri Krishna gave the Pandavas "Akshaya Patra," a container of food that never runs out. Lord Parshuram, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was born on this auspicious day.

On this day, the Jain community remembers the first Tirthankara's one-year asceticism. Buying gold, starting a new company, or even performing a kind deed on this day is regarded as lucky. People revere Lord Vishnu, who is the protector and preserver of the universe, and the goddess Lakshmi, who is the goddess of wealth and good fortune.
