Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended an important meeting to examine Delhi's law and order situation on February 28. Delhi Home Minister Ashish Sood, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and other high-ranking Delhi government officials were present at the meeting. In the meeting, Amit Shah said that it should be the priority of the Delhi Police to eliminate interstate gangs in Delhi. He also mentioned that the issue of illegal intruders is also related to national security.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave the order to take tough measures against the entire network that facilitates the entry, processing, and stay of Rohingya and Bangladeshi intruders.
Further mentioning the interstate gangs, he said, “It should be the priority of Delhi Police to eliminate interstate gangs in Delhi with a ruthless approach.”

Discussing the issues faced in maintaining national security, Amit Shah said, "The issue of illegal intruders is also related to national security, and it should be dealt with strictly, and they should be identified and deported."
Officers at the DCP level should visit police stations, set up public hearing camps, and address public issues, according to the Union Home Minister.
The Union Home Minister stated at a meeting with the Delhi government that the Delhi Police should identify the locations where there is a daily traffic bottleneck and that the Commissioner and Chief Secretary should meet to find a speedy solution so that the public can have relief.
Since Delhi is the nation's capital, Amit Shah has already emphasised the importance of having a robust police force there. Shah also emphasised how crucial technology is to expediting the legal system under these new rules, which superseded the Indian Evidence Act, the Criminal Procedure Code, and the Indian Penal Code (IPC). He requested frequent evaluations of how the law is being applied at various governmental levels.
