Heavy showers lashed the city on Saturday evening, bringing both relief from the intense heat and significant disruptions across Bengaluru. The downpour, accompanied by thunderstorms, led to waterlogging and traffic congestion in several areas, impacting the city's daily commute. According to the India Meteorological Department, Bengaluru recorded 3.6 mm of rainfall from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. While the rains offered respite from the soaring temperatures, they also created a series of challenges for commuters and residents alike.
