Bhilwara Tragedy: Van Catches Fire After Collision on NH-27, Driver Dies on Spot (Watch Video)
A tragic road accident took place near chittodia village on the Kota-chittor national highway 27 in the Mandalgarh area of Bhilwara district on Wednesday. The accident involved a violent collision between a car and a van near the Phulji Ki Khedi Cut. Following the collision, the van veered off the road and fell into a roadside ditch. In a matter of moments, the van caught fire and was completely gutted in the blaze. The driver of the van sustained severe injuries in the crash and succumbed to them on the spot.
Local residents and passersby attempted to provide immediate assistance, but the intensity of the fire made rescue efforts difficult. Emergency services, including the police and fire brigade, reached the spot soon after receiving the alert. Firefighters managed to douse the flames, but the van was entirely destroyed. Authorities have begun an investigation into the cause of the accident. Preliminary suspicions suggest that high speed or loss of control could have been contributing factors, though an official report is awaited.
