The rapidly spreading corona has created an atmosphere of fear in the minds of the people. As many 46,148 new COVID-19 cases and 979 deaths were reported in India in the last 24 hours, informed the Union Health Ministry on Monday. Daily recoveries continued to outnumber the daily new cases for the 46th consecutive day, with 58,578 recoveries in the last 24 hours, dropping the active caseload down to 5,72,994.

Meanwhile, the delta variant is getting a lot of attention. The administration's concern has been increased by the growing number of patients with the Delta Plus variant of the Corona. A 62-year-old man from Odisha was infected with the Delta Plus variant. He has has now fully recovered from covid.

The patient revisited his experience of how he recovered from the Delta Plus variant. According to the information received, the patient, who lives in Barkot block of Devgad, had recovered from covid within a month. He remained at home after being infected with corona. "I followed all the doctor's instructions properly. It helped me recover quickly. On April 23, I started experiencing body aches and flu-like symptoms," the patient said.

"After testing for covid on April 26, I found out that I had a Delta Plus variant infection. Earlier, I had also taken the first dose of the Covishield vaccine on March 30. It took me 20 to 25 days to get rid of covid. Best part was i didnt need any hospitalization, he said. On the other hand, according to MK Upadhyay, Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO), Devgad, a total of 81 people were infected with the covid between April 10 and April 30 in the village of the 62-year-old corona patient.

The 62-year-old was found to be infected with the Delta Plus variant of the Corona. The Central Government has shown that this variant is a matter of concern. The epidemiology team reached the spot as soon as they came to know that the person was infected with Delta Plus variant, said MK Upadhyay. Team members said only four of the 81 had to be hospitalized while the others recovered at home. Also, no one in the village died due to corona. A Hindi website has reported about this.
