COVID-19: Buses from other states will also be disinfected in Delhi

After announcing that all Delhi Transport Corporation buses plying in the national capital will be disinfected against coronavirus, the Delhi government on Friday said that buses arriving here from other states too will be disinfected at all ISBTs.

New Delhi, March 13 After announcing that all Delhi Transport Corporation buses plying in the national capital will be disinfected against coronavirus, the Delhi government on Friday said that buses arriving here from other states too will be disinfected at all ISBTs.

The move came after six coronavirus positive cases were reported in Delhi.

"Buses coming from other states into Delhi to be disinfected at all ISBTs to control the spread of coronavirus," a government official said on Friday.

An advisery has also been issued to owners of public passenger vehicles to disinfect their vehicles daily.

The Delhi government on Thursday declared the disease an epidemic in the national capital.
