The second wave of coronavirus is causing a huge increase in the number of patients in different parts of the country. Therefore, restrictions have been imposed in various places to prevent corona.

After the imposition of strict restrictions for 15 days in Maharashtra, now there is a possibility of lockdown at the national level as well. There are discussion happening in the country that railway service will be closed due to restrictions on railway transport across the country.

Against that background, the railway administration has now made a statement in this regard. Central Railway tweeted that long-distance regular and special trains would run as per schedule.

In this tweet, the Central Railway administration said, "The Central Railway is running regular summer special trains. Passengers are also advised that regular and special long distance trains will continue to run. In all these special trains, only confirmed ticket holders are allowed to board train by following the rules and norms of Covid-19. People are requested not to panic and rush towards stations, arrive at the station only 90 minutes before. The railway waiting list is constantly being monitored additional special trains will be added if required."
