Tejashwi Yadav, a leader from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has strongly criticized the Bihar government led by Nitish Kumar. He claims the government is protecting criminals instead of protecting the public.

Yadav pointed out the worsening law and order situation in Bihar, stating that criminals are emboldened because the government is shielding them. He questioned the safety of ordinary citizens when even security personnel are being attacked.

He further stated that during Nitish Kumar's 20 years in power, there have been 60,000 murders and 25,000 rapes, along with a surge in assaults and killings of police officers.

Yadav accused Kumar of avoiding accountability by blaming Lalu Prasad Yadav for the state's problems. He questioned whether the current situation wasn't "jungle raj," a term used to describe lawless governance.
