Delhi Police, on Friday, June 28, made its first arrest in connection with the Rajouri Garden shootout case. The incident, which took place on June 18, occurred at a Burger King outlet in Delhi's Rajouri Garden, resulting in the death of one individual.
Earlier, police had arrested Aman Joon, 26 in the Burger King murder case. According to the police, Joon was an outcome of a gang rivalry between jailed gangsters Neeraj Bawana and Ashok Pradhan. Fugitive Spain-based gangster Himanshu Bhau, who is a close aide of Bawana, took responsibility for the killing in a social media post, saying his gang had avenged the killing of Bawana's cousin Shakti Singh in October 2020.
