New Delhi (March 11, 2025): A fire broke out in a jhuggi near Anand Vihar early Tuesday and killed three people. The incident happened around 2:15 a.m. Fire officials received a distress call at 2:22 a.m. Two fire tenders reached the location and brought the flames under control in 30 minutes.

According to reports, the victims were trapped inside when a gas cylinder exploded. They could not escape and suffered fatal burns.

The deceased were identified as Jaggi Kumar aged 34. Shyam Singh aged 36. Jitendra Kumar aged 35. All three were residents of Auraiya district in Uttar Pradesh. Police recovered the charred bodies and sent them for post-mortem.
